Our Services

Traditionally if you want wedding dance lessons, your only real option would have been private lessons, which can be quite pricey, especially at a time when the wedding budget could be blowing out.

We want to make wedding dance lessons accessible to everyone though, so check out what we have on offer.

Online Dance classes

Coming soon...

If you're time poor (or even cash poor) this is probably both the most convenient and affordable option.

Learn in the comfort of your own home and at your own pace, with our easy online wedding dance classes.

Whether you just want to learn the basics or your want to learn a full choreography, we will have something for you.

Group Workshops

A more cost-effective option is to attend one of our specialist group workshops, to show you the basic components of a wedding dance.

We won't always be able to practice to your specific song, but you'll learn how to:

  • Find the beat of the music
  • Enter the dance floor with style
  • Learn a few easy go-to moves

These workshops run from time-to-time both at our Gold Coast & in Brisbane locations.

Private Lessons

The traditional option and still the best choice for anyone who both has the budget and wants something specifically tailored to them as a couple.

You'll progress much quicker in private lessons than any other option, and there's also much more scope for personalisation.

All of our private lessons are currently taught by our Champion instructor, Kristi Hall, who has been teaching wedding dance lessons for over a decade.

These lessons can be done in person on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane, or online via zoom for anyone out of the area.

FAQ

Absolutely not. All of our wedding dance classes are catered to Absolute Beginners.

You’d be surprised how easy dance can be if it’s broken down in the right way.

At the heart of it, Dance is simply stylised walking done to music.

That means if you can walk, we can teach you to dance!

Definitely. We help you to find a very basic sense of rhythm in conjunction with basing moves on the lyrics of your chosen song, making it much easier to “fake it ’til you make it” with musicality.

Everyone is different on this one, depending on a few things:

  • Any prior dance experience you have
  • How big your goals are

The more dance experience you have, the more you’ll be able to get away with less lessons.

Similarly, if you just want to feel comfortable on the dancefloor, you’ll need less lessons than if you have a grand goal of a big routine with lifts and dips.

The best way to get the answer to this question is to try a lesson to see how you go, and then your instructor will be able to help you set expectations based on your experience and goals.

It depends on what service you book.

Private lessons start at $140 per hour, while you could get a full online course or a full 3 hour group workshop for only $120.

If wedding dance lessons are outside of your budget at the moment, we recommend keeping an eye on our Blog & Social Media where we’ll be uploading free tips and mini-lessons from time to time.

Alternatively, we also offer Afterpay for all of our lessons to make the cost more manageable for you.
